Partner and International Scholarship Applicant:
Warm greetings
from the churchwide office of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
(ELCA).
I am pleased to
write today to provide you with an update on the status of your application to
the ELCA Global Mission International Leadership Development Program. We
are now in the final stages of our selection process for scholarship
applications submitted for academic programs beginning in 2014. Your
request for financial support has been tentatively approved. The
final decision for award allocation is conditional upon receiving the
following information in a timely manner:
1. An acceptance letter to the academic program of the
educational institution you plan to
attend;
2. An itemized budget for academic and living
expenses approved by the institution;
3. Supporting
documents to the application (if you have items missing, Cynthia Zamora would already
have sent this detail to you in a separate e-mail); and,
4. A
high resolution photo of yourself (preferably a head shot) – Please send by
e-mail by Monday February 24, if possible.
Please forward the
above information to my attention as soon as possible, but no later than March 14,
2014. If your plans have changed and you no longer wish to be considered
for an ELCA International Scholarship, please contact my office immediately.
